Governors

The Governing Body of John Kelly Girls’ Technology College is bound by the codes of conduct described in ‘A Guide to the Law for School Governors’ issued by the DCSF in April 2009.

The Governing Body seeks to support the work of the Principal, her staff and the students of the college. It acts as critical friend, and individual members attend various college functions throughout the year.

Three main committees meet termly (Finance and General Purposes; Curriculum and Personnel) prior to scheduled meetings of the entire Governing Body. The public is welcome to attend the main part of whole Governing Body meetings.
